Demitria Giroux Kline
Hey everyone! My name is Demitria, but my friends call me Demi! I was born and raised in a small town in Maine. I am a 3rd generation Registered Maine Hunting Guide on both sides of my family, so I’ve spent my whole life hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Since getting my own Guide’s License, I have been guiding for bear, ruffed grouse, and white-tailed deer.
My absolute favorite species to hunt, and guide for, is bear. However, I also really enjoy turkey hunting, deer hunting, and grouse hunting. Some of my other hobbies include, fishing, ice fishing, and looking for antlers. My favorite hunting memory would definitely have to be completing my Maine Grand Slam in 2025 by harvesting a turkey, bear, moose, and a deer all in one season!
I also have my Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Biology, so when I’m not hunting, fishing, or guiding, I have gotten to do a lot of cool things with Maine’s wildlife. I have helped with Maine’s moose study by tagging harvested moose, I have monitored the effects of winter on local deer populations, and I have banded turkeys. This unique approach helps me understand and respect the wildlife around me even more!
My “True North” is sharing my passion and knowledge of the outdoors with others, whether they have been hunting their whole lives like me, or they are just getting started!
