Cassandra Frey
Howdy y’all! My name is Cassie Frey and I’m currently living in a small town in Northwest Wyoming. I was born and raised in rural North Central Pennsylvania where my love for the outdoors started as a young girl. I have four older brothers and a dad who first introduced me to rifle hunting and fishing! From the age of 12 when I got my hunter safety, I knew hunting would be less of a hobby and more of a way of life. Over time, I taught myself how to fly fish, call/hunt turkeys, and eventually archery hunt with my compound; all of which my family never did.
Hunting was my escape and helped fuel my burning desire to see more, understand better, and ultimately become the most independent woman I could. All of this grew even more when I graduated college in 2022 and knew I wanted to expand my knowledge to the west. I first started working on a Dude Ranch in Wyoming before becoming a full time Bar Manager at a guest ranch, as well as a Fly Fishing Guide. Moving to Wyoming, I knew I’d have more trout to catch and more species to hunt.
Every moment spent outdoors is so different, but every time I do, I take away a new lesson, whether it be about myself, hunting itself, finding inner peace, or just coming out as a better angler/huntress. I take every single experience as it is and feel blessed to live the life I do.
